CORONAVIRUS

For all the destinations we operate in we monitor and follow the advice of the British Foreign, Commonwealth & Development Office (FCDO) who provide recommendations and advice to British travellers about travel to a certain destination.

Health and safety is our top priority so we will NEVER operate a trip in an area where there is clear and present risk of coronavirus to our team members, whether that is due to a health outbreak, political instability, natural disasters or anything else.

Please note that at the time of travel there may be enhanced safety and security measures in airports, bag drop may take longer, and you may need to provide a certificate of health.

I AM NOT VACCINATED. CAN I STILL JOIN A TRIP?

The Different Travel Company respects an individual’s right to choose to be vaccinated against Covid-19 or not. We do not currently have a policy that all our participants must be vaccinated in order to travel.

However, we are bound by the rules and entry requirements both for the destination we are travelling to and here in the UK. Please note that these rules can change any time up to the time of travel.

It will be each individual’s decision whether they are happy to conform with these requirements or, if not, they will have to cancel their place on the trip. As this will be down to personal choice, they would lose their deposit as per our terms and conditions.

WHAT HAPPENS IF I TEST POSITIVE WHILE ON A TRIP?

Different Travel will follow the rules and regulations of the country you are visiting.

If no risk is perceived for the remainder of the group it may be possible for you to continue with trip as planned.

However, should the need arise, you may be required to isolate from the group.

Decisions will be made on a case by case basis.

Your tour manager and local team will assist you in making any necessary arrangement but please note any additional costs incurred are your responsibility.

Please ensure your travel insurance includes cover for Covid-19 in case of this eventuality.

What happens if my trip can no longer take place due to COVID-19?

Should the FCDO advice change to advise against non-essential travel to your destination, we will contact you accordingly and advise what alternative arrangements will be available.

If your trip is cancelled by Different Travel you will be able to either transfer your booking to an alternative departure or receive a refund, as per our terms and conditions.
